“Fairfield Island Project” Luxury Home in Chilliwack BC

“Step inside and feel the story unfold—this home is a reflection of my passion for blending natural textures, meaningful art, and intentional design. The entryway sets the tone with a handwoven rug and a sculptural coat rack inspired by tree branches—each piece chosen to create a welcoming, grounded space. Bold double doors open to a light-filled living room where custom-painted artwork by a local artist brings my colour palette to life. Soft textures from layered pillows and throws invite you to sink in and stay a while, while a fragmented rug, oversized statement lamp, and an elegant arched mirror above the fireplace add depth and warmth.

Furnishing this home for my client was a deeply personal process, focused on creating a space that felt warm, calm, and connected. I started with a neutral foundation, layering in natural textures and sculptural pieces. Every element—from custom artwork to the unique rug and the tree-like coat rack—was carefully selected to complement the space and tell a cohesive story.

The goal was to achieve balance in every detail, blending aesthetics with function, softness with structure, and personality with simplicity. The result is a home that feels intentional, thoughtful, and deeply personal, with each piece serving a purpose and inviting you to linger.
